| Aufgabe | Write down five non-finite clauses. Make sure that you cover the whole clause, not just the verb phrase.
1) A lot of kids were laughin and teasing each other and it was pretty obvious that they even call their teachers and therapists and social workers by their first names.
2)Dr. Miller finally came back in the afternoon and I got to talk to him.
3)I just sat nodding my head in Dr. Miller's office so I wouldn't have to open my mouth.
4) Group One kids are trying to obey all the rules and get released.
5) I was so surprised I looked for the ceiling to fall down on her head, but no one seems to pay any attention but me. |
Ich denke das ich die aufgabe verstanden habe, aber würde gern wissen ob die Beispiele richtig sind:
-> "laughing and teasing each other"
-> "to talk to him"
-> "nodding my head"
-> are trying to obey"
-> "looked for the ceiling"
-> "to pay any attention
