Hallo, wäre euch sehr dankbar, wenn ihr das mal Korrektur lesen könntet, ist ein bisschen viel ich weiß =(. Aber ich hoffe, es findet sich trotzdem jemand =)
Chapter 34: Mitch 's escape and the spy at the FBI
I think chapter 34 is very important for the story, because the escape of Mitch from the firm begins. The firm gets out by Alfred (Tarry Ross) -a spy at the FBI- that Mitch co-operates with the FBI and supposedly he has copied several thousand documents and has handed over to the FBI, he would state as a witness and then disappear. Indeed, the lawyers doubt that he has got unlawful documents and this are only legitimate ones, because the FBI wasn't there with a search warrant. However, they are not really sure and want to destroy the unlawful documents on Cayman islands. In addition they want to eliminate Mitch, he should fly with the Lear in 3 hours to the Cayman islands and the machine should explode so strongly about the water that the the plain will scatter over a thirty-square-mile area and no corpse will be found. The FBI finds the spy and Tarrance just warns Mitch still on time. Only the SOS code helps him first to escape unnoticed from the firm. He flees on foot and denies to the FBI to deliver the promised documents , because he does not trust them any more. However, now not only the gangsters are behind him, also the FBI wants to find him, so that he can deliver the other documents to them.
After he has called Tammy, she should organize the next steps of the escape, he is nearly caught by the gangsters of the firm. Only with luck and money he can still hide from them.
Chapter 36: Mitch, Abby and Ray are on the run, Ray is searched as a violated
In chapter 36 Mitch, Abby and Ray further are on the run. Mitch has gone to Nashville and effects there a row of transfers, from an account on the Caymans of the firm he removes 10 miollion Dollars. Then he transfers in each case one Million to his mother and his parents-in-law. The rest is distributed to other accounts of the McDeers. The transfer is noted at the bank of the Cayman islands by certain Randolph Osgood and he calls at the firm in Memphis, indeed, none of the lawyers is accessible, therefore he wants to look after it the next day. Who Osgood is, we are not informed about, but probably he will know in parts about the firm. Meanwhile, Abby and Ray further are on the run and Ray is searched as a violated. Mitch calls Abbys parents and explains to them that he and Abby will disappeared in the next time and they should be glad about the one million dollars on her account. Then he calls Abby and discusses with her the other approach, about midnight Mitch, Ray and Abby meet in a cheap motel and plan now reunited their further details of the escape.
Function: The Function of both chapters is the escape, in chapter 34 of mitch and in chapter 36 of Mitch, Abby and Ray from the firm. The chapters are very thrilling and you want to read on, because you want to know if the escape is sucessful or if one or all of them will be caught.
The chapters hasen't got a describing function, they development the suspense in the story.
